JOHANNESBURG – It’s Heritage Day weekend, a time to connect with our cultures.

We can also reflect on our past and look to the future.

With all the different and wonderful cultures in our Rainbow Nation, there are so many ways to celebrate being South African this weekend.

HALAAL MANUFACTURERS MARKET

A brand new market makes its debut this heritage weekend at the V&A Waterfront, so why not be one of the first to experience it?

The market will open at Makers Landing on September 24-25 and will feature several local halal brands and businesses.

DISTRICT SIX MUSEUM AND KOE’SIESTER MAGAZINE EXHIBITION AND MARKET

The District Six Museum partners with Koe’s sister magazine to hold an exhibition and market showcasing food, goods and entertainment.

BO-KAAP KITCHEN TOUR
