According to IIHB’s Power Couples Survey, DeepVeer, Virushka are still Janta’s favorite jodis, newlyweds KatVic and Ambanis also on the list

Newlyweds Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal (KatVic) placed respectable ninth in the annual Power Couples survey released on Thursday by the Indian Institute of Human Marks (IIHB) in Mumbai. Reliance’s Ambanis Mukesh and Nita topped the standings with an impressive 94%, followed by Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh (DeepVeer) who got 86% taking second place, while Indian captain Virat Kohli and his actress wife Anushka Sharma (popularly ensemble called Virushka) scored 79% for third place.

The survey focused on a sample of 1,362 respondents (men = 761 and women = 601) nationwide, in the 25-40 age group.

The latest IIHB power couples survey was published by IIHB in 2019. Last year, no survey was carried out due to the pandemic. “Last time around, we didn’t include any business or business couple on our list. But the IIHB research team felt that the rankings should include powerful couples from all walks of life; therefore, business couples were added to the list this time around, and they seem to have done very well in the ranking, ”said Dr Sandeep Goyal, Chief Mentor, IIHB. Last year DeepVeer and Virushka were neck and neck in the standings.

The ranking of the 2021 survey was as follows:

The Ambani power couple has dominated the field on multiple attributes: dynamic, innovative, successful, prestigious, unique, progressive and traditional. DeepVeer was the best at fun, distinctive, charming, different and MFEO (Made For Each Other).

Virushka got top score for High Quality, Authentic, Outdoor and Best Brand. Ranbir and Alia were considered the best on Stylish. Saif and Kareena followed. The most respected power couple were the Murthys of Infosys: Narayan and Sudha. The senior Bachchans came close behind. The Senior Bachchans and Murthys traded first and second place on Most Respected.

Akshay and Twinkle were considered straightforward and reliable. Mr. S. Dhoni and his wife Sakshi were regarded as us, therefore regarded with great empathy.

“The inclusion of couples beyond movies / entertainment and sports has made the powerful couples list more comprehensive and representative,” says Dr Goyal. “We have also included a large list of Southern celebrities – Dhanush and Aishwarya, Jyothika-Suriya, Namrata Shirodkar-Mahesh Babu: Sneha-Prasanna, Bhavna-Naveen, Ambareesh and Sumalatha, Ajith and Shalini, Khushboo and Sundar C, Fahadh Faasil and Nazriya Nazim, Suhasini and Maniratnam, Vijay and Sangeetha – but in an all-Indian sample none of them made it to the Top 20, although in the South most of them beat celebrity couples national ”.

This year’s overall roster included nationally renowned artists – Paresh Maity & Jayshree Burman, Subodh Gupta & Bharti Kher, Paramjit Singh & Arpita Singh, Atul Dodiya & Anju Dodiya; the political and media couples Prakash & Brinda Karat, Prannoy & Radhika Roy, Ronnie & Zarina Screwvala and Rajiv Shukla & Anuradha Prasad. Other famous power couples included in the survey were: Falguni and Sanjay Nayar, Falguni and Shane Peacock, Bhushan and Divya Kumar, Sajjan and Sangeeta Jindal, Javed Akhtar and Shabana Azmi, Lakshmi and Usha Mittal, Siddharth Roy Kapoor and Vidya Balan and Saina Nehwal and Parupalli Kashyap.

The phrase Power Couple may sound very familiar and common today, but it was first used less than two decades ago to describe the English football captain and his singer wife Posh Spice, Victoria by the British tabloids. .
