The GMCVB invites foodies to take advantage of delicious dining offers with more than 200 participating restaurants

the Greater Miami Convention and Tourism Bureau (GMCVB) will kick off the 17e year of its long awaited Miami Spice Restaurant Program, which offers local and visiting foodies exclusive discounts on meals. From August 1 through September 30, 2018, the program will showcase Greater Miami’s diverse and ever-changing food scene and beaches with an estimated over one million Miami Spice meals served since its inception in 2001. Sponsors include Chandon California, Fiji Water, Terrazas de los Andes and Stella Artois.

“We are delighted to celebrate the 17the birthday of Miami Spice and its extraordinary value which gives diners the opportunity to indulge in savory and exclusive dishes created by world-renowned chefs, ”said GMCVB President and CEO William D. Talbert, III, CDME. “This year’s program is more robust than ever and offers both residents and visitors exclusive seasonal savings offered in Greater Miami and the beaches.”

In August and September, gourmet restaurants will offer you three dishes Fixed price Miami Spice reduced price menus ($ 23 per person for lunch and brunch / $ 39 per person for dinner) in some of the most popular and lively areas of the destination: Miami Beach, Bal Harbor, Brickell, Coconut Grove, Coral Gables, Doral, Downtown Miami, South Miami, Sunny Isles and Wynwood. The prices include a starter, a starter and a dessert; taxes, tips, libations and service charges are extra. This year the Miami Spice Restaurant Program will collaborate with Slow Food Miami, a local non-profit organization that recognizes local businesses that maintain good, clean and fair standards, by awarding the Approval snail to producers, co-producers and artisans, in recognition of their contribution to the Quality, Authenticity and Sustainability of the food and drinks consumed. the Miami Spice The website will mark 2018 attendees who are sealed with the approval snail.

Miami hotel month

The GMCVB launched its Miami hotel month campaign to encourage customers to take advantage of attractive hotel offers from June to September. With over 85 participating hotels in Greater Miami and the Beaches, there are great deals and discounts available. The campaign will run until September 30, 2018 and will include not only discounts on hotel stays, but also free breakfasts, valet parking, activities and internet.
