Krispy Kreme launches its pumpkin spice menu a month early!

It may be too early to start thinking about the fall, but Krispy Kreme doesn’t seem to!

America may be in the midst of a giant heat wave, but that’s not stopping Krispy Kreme from breaking out the pumpkin spice. The donut shop will launch its pumpkin spice donuts and drinks TODAY, August 8th. Krispy Kreme is the first donut shop to launch pumpkin spice for the season!

“Of course, pumpkin spice is usually associated with fall, but true fans of the flavor will agree that August is pretty close! So we’re pushing ahead, allowing our customers to indulge and enjoy early with delicious pumpkin spice donuts and drinks, including our Pumpkin Spice Latte, which you can get iced or frozen, by the way,” said Dave Skena, Global Head of Brand Manager for Krispy Kreme.

Krispy Kreme has two new products joining the line: Pumpkin Spice Iced Coffee and Pumpkin Spice Latte Swirl Donut.

Classic fall favorites are also back, including the Original Pumpkin Spice Glazed Donut, Pumpkin Spice Cake Donut, and Pumpkin Spice Filled Cheesecake Donut. Fans will also be able to get Pumpkin Spice Coffee or a Pumpkin Spice Latte served hot, iced, or frozen.

As for the usual pumpkin spice suspects, Starbucks is launching its pumpkin spice menu at the end of August; Dunkin’ is rumored to launch on August 17; and 7-11 currently serves both Pumpkin Spice Coffee and Pumpkin Spice Lattes.
