Opening of a new Lowestoft Asian Cuisine restaurant

A new restaurant opens in a coastal town.

It comes after a council last week granted a new application for a premises license for Crown Lounge in Lowestoft.

With an award-winning chef and offering the ‘best Asian cuisine’, the Crown Lounge opened at its Bevan Street East premises in Lowestoft on October 27th.

Its website states: “Crown Lounge is located in Lowestoft and takes pride in serving the surrounding areas.

“In Indian culture, eating is not just about nourishing the body, but also nourishing the soul – our take out and restaurant engage all of your senses.

“Our chef prepares all of our authentic dishes completely fresh, we also offer a wide range of authentic Indian cuisine to suit all tastes.

“We have a new online ordering website that displays our entire menu.

Previously Farzana Spice Tandoori Grill and Takeaway Restaurant in Lowestoft, an application for a business license has been filed with the East Suffolk Council for the development of the Crown Lounge in Lowestoft – a new restaurant at 10 Bevan Street East, Lowestoft.

And with the license granted last week, an East Suffolk Council spokesperson said: “The license for the Crown Lounge was granted on October 19.”

The proposed licenseable activities which have since been granted include the provision of alcohol daily from noon to 2 p.m. and from 5 to 11 p.m., with restaurant opening hours scheduled between these hours.
