Why we love the 2022 Ferrari 812 GTS

Throughout history there have been brands or manufacturers that have sat on top of the hill talking about cars. These companies have produced some of the most iconic designs ever seen on the streets. One of the most famous is Ferraria brand that can be easily recognized in any corner of the world.

Ferrari represents elegance, speed and performance. For many loyal fans, Ferrari isn’t what it used to be. Some believe there might be things missing. Over the years, brands like Lamborghini, Maserati and McLaren have grown a lot and gained more relevance in the market, and maybe Ferrari hasn’t paid attention to how their competition has evolved.

Ferrari is still a big luxury brand. It’s an impressive feat that they dominated the market and the competition at some point in history, but it’s no secret that they lost some of their relevance or power. In an attempt to regain the throne, Ferrari launched the new Ferrari 812 GTS, the most powerful Ferrari in series production. It is essentially an open-top version of the 812 Superfast.

There are four different versions of this car, with the normal street configuration and an open production version. The 812 Superfast and the 812 GTS use the same mechanical characteristics, with the difference that the GTS is a convertible car. Above these two versions, we find the 812 Competition and Competizione A, the track-focused versions with limited production. They have small physical differences but a much more powerful motor.

Why we love the 2022 Ferrari 812 GTS

The electric and hybrid eras may not be popular with car enthusiasts. Some opinions say that cars won’t be the same without a petrol engine and that the feeling of driving a powerful car like the 812 will die. With its iconic V-12 spyder, Ferrari presented the world with a 100% naturally aspirated engine. Unfortunately, it may be the last year, but we can still enjoy it.

To have a car with these characteristics in 2022 is amazing. There aren’t too many cars that bring old functionality to a modern model, and with all the electric and hybrid versions taking over the market, it’s going to be hard to find that old style again.

With an engine like this, you’re going to get that vintage feel, but on top of that, the removable hardtop is going to spice things up a bit and add that touch of fun and glamor you expect when driving a Ferrari. It should be a complete and unique experience that former Ferrari fans would enjoy.

All in all, the Ferrari 812 GTS is an impressive car that could end an era. With all the electric technology applied to modern models, the 812 GTS will be very popular in the future.
